Standing Committee

La Pine RFPD

Phone: (541) 536-2935

Bio: I moved to beautiful Central Oregon in late 2000. I have been in service as Office Manager of La Pine Fire District since 2002. Shortly after my hire, I joined OFSOA and found the members to be a very energetic group who are genuinely concerned with the success of others and are willing to share their wealth of knowledge.

Over the years, I have served as both the Region 5 Representative and as Hospitality Chair. I'm now looking forward to the new challenges of serving as your Membership Chair.

Sally Cravinho-
Education Chair
Standing Committee

Office of State Fire Marshal

Phone: (503) 934-8205

Bio:  I am fortunate to have worked in state government for 19 years; 10 years at Oregon Lottery working with Oregon State Police in the Security Section providing assistance to the detectives in the background investigation process for potential retailers, vendors and employees. The last nine years I have worked at the Office of State Fire Marshal, starting out in 2007 in the License & Permits unit as a Licensing Representative, then in 2010, I promoted to my current position as the Executive Assistant to the State Fire Marshal.

Prior to working for the state, I worked at US Bank for three years and then became a travel agent for six years in the Portland area and later in Salem. I enjoyed planning my clients’ travel around the world and getting to do some traveling myself. I remained in the travel business but transferred to the hotel side of it as the front desk manager for a hotel chain before becoming an Executive Assistant for GTECH, a worldwide corporation based out of Rhode Island, which manufactures on-line gaming machines. I managed the front office, handled all correspondence, accounts receivable/payable, HR, payroll, phones, office supplies and anything else that needed attention.

After attending my first OFSOA Conference in 2011, I was hooked. The experience was more than I ever imagined and I couldn’t have met a greater group of supportive women, who have become friends that I look forward to seeing at each workshop and conference, as well as gaining valuable knowledge from such diverse speakers. Being involved in this wonderful organization, I felt the need to get more involved and give back for all the support I’ve received over the past five years, and welcome new members, as I was welcomed. I look forward to serving as your Education Chair.

Rhonda Grant - Protocol Chair
Standing Committee

Stayton Fire District
Email: protocol@ofsoa.com
Phone: (503) 769-2601

Bio:  I began working for the fire service in 1986. My responsibilities over the years have included accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources including payroll and benefit administration, desktop publishing, budgeting, billing, reporting to State & Federal agencies, research, scheduling, event planning, and general administrative support.

I joined OFSOA in 1992 after a friend from a neighboring district told me about the organization. I was so thrilled with the training and what I was learning from networking with the other members that I wanted to be more involved to help keep the organization growing. I have served on the Board of Directors as a Region Representative, Treasurer, Conference Co-Chair, Vice President, and President and enjoyed every moment. The members of OFSOA are encouraging and inspiring and the training has been such a valuable resource that has helped me to grow personally and professionally. I know of no other organization that offers such pertinent and excellent training and encourages its members to succeed in all they do. OFSOA truly lives up to its motto of "Sharing a Standard of Excellence".

In my free time, I love to read, sew, walk, do crosswords and needlework, learn new software, and spend time with my husband, daughters, and their families.

Ashley Naught -
Communication Chair
Standing Committee

TVF&R
Email: communication@ofsoa.com
Phone: (503) 259-1503

Bio:  I began my fire service career in the Supply Department here at TVF&R as a Supply Customer Service Clerk. I was responsible for ordering a variety of items for the District, working with crews to order items for the stations, and acted as an instructor of sorts for our internal ordering process. I came from the private sector as a manager in retail, which makes me that much more appreciative to be involved in the fire service!

I was promoted to an Executive Assistant in 2015, supporting the Fire Chief and the Board of Directors, and a variety of projects. I love being involved in the fire service, and couldn’t ask for a more rewarding job. I heard about the OFSOA through my counterpart & good friend, Executive Assistant, Olivia Houck, and knew immediately I wanted to join and be involved! I am a new member, and I am amazed at the level and amount of resources offered. I couldn’t be more excited to serve as the new

Communications/Newsletter Chair! I’m hoping I can put some of my photojournalism classes to work.

In my time away from the District, my husband and I enjoy traveling in our RV, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting trap, and I love to sew, scrapbook and be creative!
