OFSOA works hard to support administrative personnel in Oregon’s fire service by providing resources, training, and involvement opportunities. Getting involved with OFSOA is a great way to develop professional and leadership skills in a supportive environment.

There are a variety of ways to get involved, that can be tailored to your interest and availability. There are a number of open positions on the Board and Committees. OFSOA’s Board is identifying opportunities to get more involved in small manageable ways. We would love to encourage members to shadow or apprentice a board member or committee. This can be as much or as little as you’d like, but would provide the ability to witness the responsibilities, jump in to help edit, brainstorm, or maybe manage communications in a small capacity.
When you choose to get involved, you will be supported by an amazing team of professionals in your field. We understand you have a FULL plate, and empathize with you, knowing that taking on more or trying something new is not always easy to do. We are committed to helping you succeed!
